What are Business Documents?
Business documents are written records that provide evidence of financial transactions.
They are also known as source documents.
These documents form the basis for entries in the books of prime entry.

Quotation β A statement of price provided by a supplier.
Order β A request sent by a buyer to purchase goods.
Invoice β A document sent by the seller requesting payment.
Credit Note β Issued when goods are returned or overcharged.
